I Open My Bible

I open my Bible early each day.
(Fold hands together in front of you, then open as if opening book.)

I read it and see what God has to say.
("read" -- look closely; "God" -- point to Heaven;
"say" -- point to mouth)

I put it up carefully, then I pray
("put it up" -- pretend to put book on shelf;
"pray" -- fold hands in prayer)

that God will help me obey it as I go my way.
(Point to Heaven, then walk away.)
